Our Story

The Africa International Boxing Hall of Fame Ltd. (AIBHOF) was born from a simple but urgent truth:

Too much of Africa's boxing history remains undocumented, fragmented, overlooked, or at risk of disappearing altogether.

AIBHOF is being built to change that.

We exist to preserve the fighters, trainers, promoters, officials, families, moments, and stories that shaped the sport across Africa and its diaspora—and to give that history the institutional home it has long deserved.

This is more than remembrance.

It is the work of ensuring that generations yet to come will know who came before them, what they endured, what they achieved, and why their stories still matter.
